In-house training

Our in-house trainer Leanne Kirkup delivers practical, classroom-based training for our children’s residential workforce. Training is reviewed regularly in line with OFSTED requirements and current legislation, and is provided at no cost to Pin Point candidates.

Training relevant to children’s residential care includes:

  • Safeguarding children – Level 3
  • Attachment and trauma awareness
  • PRICE and Team Teach – physical intervention
  • De-escalation and positive behaviour support
  • Lone working
  • Basic life support
